  • Principal of The Glasgow Group, a management consulting business that speeds up organizational change and competitiveness. Clients include Bell Canada, Royal Bank, CIBC, TD Canada Trust, FedEx, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Cossette, and The Association of Canadian Advertisers.
  • Formerly a senior executive of the advertising and marketing communications industry, Alan was until 1994 Managing Director of Harrod & Mirlin Advertising, Toronto. Previous to that he held a variety of account management roles at McCann Erickson Worldwide and Foster Advertising, where he helped build global brand icons such as Coca-Cola, Levi’s, and Honda. Alan has worked in Canada, the UK, and the US.
  • Co-chair and advisor to the Executive Perspectives session for COMDEX Toronto, Alan develops and leads a series of roundtables on important issues to executive management of technology users and suppliers.
  • Past President of the American Marketing Association, Toronto Chapter, and board-nominee committee member of the International American Marketing Association.
